Just wanted to show off some goodies i got in the mail yesterday,courtesy of CorsetKitten. :) She posted both black as well as bluesweater type dresses in the swap meet a few weeks ago. For once my luckheld, and i was able to snap up the blue one! :D My girls have far toomuch black clothing anyway...it's like a Goth convention on my desk!LOL :D

Erica was not only kind enough to throw in another outfit,







But she also included some yummy looking cookies...I know they're just sculpy and stuff, but damn they look good! LOL

After playing around a bit more, i discovered that just pushing thetubing onto the CG Neckpost far enough that it won't slide off againworks even better. The head sits low enough now that there's less of agap than before.

I finally got off my ass and swapped Vanity's head (my favorite part ofthe whole figure) onto a different body today. Other people useaquarium tubing, but once again i used my old standby, leftover Oxygentubing connectors! LOL







There's a bit of a noticeable gap from certain angles, but it's a minor fault.

And for anyone who was wondering what Vanity's neckpost looked like:



Iguess i exaggerated when i described it as "almost as big as a legominifigure head", but it's still quite a bit larger than a standardneckpost. The ball on the other end is too small to be a proper fit inthe 3.0 body as well (it came out fairly easily) I even tried takingthe whole neckpost/head and swapping it into the3.0 shoulders, and it probly would have been easier to pad the smallerneck ball with tape or whatever, but oh well, i did it this way LOL

I finally got the last bit of my Christmas stuff in this week, and Ithought i'd take some pics. First to arrive was a MIB Kat (been afterher for awhile, Ash notwithstanding), followed yesterday by OJI'sPorsche (Lex's sister...pics of her to come later) and then today'sbatch of goodies! Inspired by Forrester's Ravella, (and a video of LucyLawless that Trogdor linked to) I decided to get a Xena to whip up aRavella of my own...I managed to get not only the Warlord Xena (in atotally kickass Kimono), but Gabrielle was included in the auction aswell. So far I've only torn apart the Xena figure (need to make up anadapter for the neck) And gave the outfit (apart from the shoes...Lexwas...insistent on keeping her boots LOL) to my own brunetteWarlord/ballbuster, Lex. I had to modify the headdress a little (therewas a post that held it in place on the Xena head, but i cut that offand managed to balance it fairly well)







I really like the Kimono, and it fits her 3.0 almost perfectly! :)

I just wanted to share some pics tonight of the latest lady to join mycollection: Doronjo! (Or her identical twin...LOL) Store-rooms has thehead, along with others on a "3.0" for $28.99 shipped, so i finallybroke down and bought one. She arrived today and I'm happy to say she'sbetter than i expected! :) (Since most everyone here already knows thestrengths/weaknesses of the 2/"3.0", this review will focus mainly onthe rest of the figure (ie: the head and hands).



Asmost folks around here know, she's a reroot/repaint of the Ruby/Electraheadsculpt (mine still has the "CG10" stamp at the back of her neckjust below her hairline). Now she's been repainted so that her eyeslook straight forward (mostly...mine seems a little cross-eyed) as wellas having lipstick this time around



Personally i think i like her better like this, even IF Electra was one of my first "grail girls"



Shealso has long blonde hair, unlike the shoulder length of Ruby/Electra,or the various colors ZC used. The bulk of it flows straight down herback, leaving her with from the front looks like a short blonde bob,similar to Deunan's.

The hands for mine weren't assembled, so iswapped a set of S1 hands onto the wrist posts. The included fullgloved hands are identical to those from Annu Yuri, or white versionsof the ones the stock Doronjo comes with.

The skintone of thehead is noticeably lighter than the orange-tan skintone of the "3.0",but i believe this was true of the stock Doronjo as well. I was temptedto put the head on my lone TTL body, but decided to leave her as she is.

All in all i'd say she was worth the money! :)
